Apollo's Medical Treatment

Organized by Trixie, Lily and Sammy=Joe

All About Apollo
Apollo, a black lab mix, was still just a puppy when he was found living on the streets of Pittsfield, IL. He was brought to the local animal shelter, a high kill shelter, where he seemed to be doomed. But Almost Home Foundation rescued him just in time, in January of 2010, and found him a foster home. He got adopted very quickly, into the perfect home... a family with two children, and another black lab for him to play with!

But less than a month later, Apollo's family found out that he had a hole in his diaphragm. His intestines were pushing against his lungs and heart. This issuem which he was born with, would threaten his life! You can read about all of the treatments and surgeries Apollo has needed, and will continue to need, at his website.

Apollo's family, and Almost Home Foundation, is determined to help Apollo recover and live the best life he can. His veterinary bills, which Almost Home is going to pay in order to spare the family the expense, will be at least $10,000. This pup needs every dollar he can get!

We are hosting a raffle on our blog, at http://trixielilysammyjoe.blogspot.com from March 5 to March 15. Many companies have donated products to raffle off! For each dollar you donate, you will have one raffle ticket to spend wherever you'd like. From March 5 to March 12 we will review the raffle products. Then, from March 13 to 15, you can tell us where you want to spend your tickets! The drawing will be March 16, and winners will be announced that evening.

We are hoping to raise as much as possible to contribute to Apollo! Please help!
